|Title: Woolly Bear?|
Concept: Legend says the woolly bear caterpillar can forecast the upcoming winter severity by the width of its center stripe. For this larval stage of the Isabella tiger moth, the wider the red-brown stripe, the milder the upcoming winter.
Detail: This specimen was forecasting a really cold winter as it had virtually no center brown band. Note: the following winter was quite mild - can't win 'em all. Video Credit: WeatherVideoHD.TV
